Haul, Reviews and more coming soon!

Hey everyone! 

This week, I'm off work because the family I babysit for is going on vacation! I've been shopping and ordering things online in the past few weeks and I will be posting a haul of my stuff later this week! As the things I've ordered come in the mail, I will add them to the haul! 

Also, I recently bought an e.l.f palette, two e.l.f eye shadow brushes, and a Revlon Lip Butter. I will be posting reviews and swatches of those this week as well! 

I'm also thinking of doing a makeup collection video! I surprisingly have a lot of makeup for someone who doesn't really wear makeup! So, that may also be happening this week.

GOING TO WASHINGTON DC!

YAY! 

So, our chorus and orchestra teachers put together a trip to Washington DC and we leave Wednesday, April 17th! I am so super excited to be going to DC! I have wanted to go for so long and I finally have the chance! 

We'll be going to the museums, seeing the landmarks, memorials, and statues and will also be visiting Arlington National Cemetery. We'll also be taking a tour of the Archives, a 4 hour city bus tour, and seeing a Pops concert and a performance of Hello Dolly! AND we get to take pictures outside the White House! I'm SOOOOOOO excited! I will probably post a blog about it when I get back and I am going to be recreating my red, white and blue mani for the trip! 

You guys remember that one! 

I cannot wait to go! And I'm going to see how many complements I get on my nails! :D

Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure

So, I will soon be the owner of a bottle of the very hard to find Sally Hansen polish, Hidden Treasure! I have the other polish of the same name that is the pearl pink opalescent polish, but I found the original on ebay and ordered it! 

Here's the two polishes to show you the difference:

You can clearly see the difference between the two polishes, and I cannot wait to receive the second one!

Update! :)

Hey guys! Life is CRAZY nowadays! I'm in my school's production of the musical, Anything Goes, and we've had rehearsal just about every day since January! The musical is March 7-9th and I am so excited! Also, I am getting my braces off (FINALLY) in a little over a week, March 1st! Lastly, which doesn't really take up too much of my time, but Prom (my last one!) is on March 23rd! 

So, I've been really busy! My nail polish collection has DEFINITELY increased since my last post, and it will continually increase! My mom is getting me new polishes when she gets paid, so I'll put a post up about those when I get them! 

I may also have a post about my experience in the musical, so look out for that as well!

Julep Maven!

I received my Julep Maven introductory box today and am super excited! Here's my "unboxing" video!

If you don't know what Julep Maven is, Julep Maven is a monthly subscription service that sends out nail polish and mani-pedi and beauty products. Each box is $19.99. You can take a style profile to start out, or just choose which box you would like as your introductory box. Each box either comes with 2 polishes and a product, or 3 nail polishes. You can get your box for a penny with this code: penny. It worked for me! Another one people have been using is color2012. On the 20th of the month, you will receive an email with what is in your box for your style profile. If you don't like it, you can choose to receive one of the other boxes if you like one of those better. If you don't have the money or just don't want the box that month, you can skip that month. Just make sure to make your decision by the 24th of the month as you will be charged and your box shipped on the 27th of the month! Sally Hansen Magnetic Polish Review!

So, today I took off my Fourth of July polish and decided to try my Sally Hansen Magnetic Polish. This is how it turned out! 

This is the Ionic Indigo Sally Hansen Magnetic polish and it is AWESOME. It took some practice on my thumb and my pointer finger, but once I got to my middle finger, it started to look more like the ads! The magnet cap even has a handy cuticle guide (it's like a piece of plastic you set on your finger to angle the magnet so your hands won't shake like mine do!) It's totally worth the $10 in my opinion! I will definitely be using this polish more often and even going to buy some more! One of the ladies at the Walgreens near my house told me they are having a sale on them tomorrow, YAY! :D 

I love how my nails look and I hope if you get this, you'll love it too!

Nails! :)

So, I've painted my nails a lot recently (I basically paint them every other day it seems, haha!) I'm kind of obsessed with painting my nails. So, here are some pictures of my nails from recently! :)

Painted mine and my "niece's" nails :)

So, we watch my sister's friend's kids during the summer and Zachy went to work with his dad today so we just had miss Haley. I needed to paint my nails because the polish was chipping off and she really wanted me to do the galaxy nails on her nails, so I did. Here's how they came out!
